One of the famous sights in the Philippines is Rizal Park which is really frequented by most people especially tourists.  Rizal Park is better known as Luneta Park which was renamed from the old name “Bagumbayan”.  This park is one of the historical places written in the books because after being imprisoned by our national hero Jose Rizal, he was brought here to be shot in front of many Filipinos through the firing squad to pay for the crime he committed in our country.
Rizal Park is also an important tourist destination.  Due to its vast land area of more than 143 hectares and close to Manila Bay and the old wall of Intramuros, it is considered by most to be the largest park in the city of Manila.  In the middle of Rizal Park you will find the famous monument of Dr.  Jose Rizal which is a sign of his heroism in fighting the Spaniards.
In this area, you will find crowds and tourists strolling, eating, and relaxing.  There are also many people who practice here in the morning and afternoon.  Even other student school projects are done here.  It is also here that others twist to be able to think properly.
Apart from the Rizal Monument, there are many other places to visit within Rizal Park such as the Chinese Garden, Japanese Gardin, Orchidarium, Planetarium, Rizal Martyrdom place, National Library of the Philippines and Map of the Philippines.  Here, you will also find statues of some heroes who also fought for the freedom of our country from the spaniards and many more
The most beautiful attraction in Rizal Park at night is the dancing fountain which is really enjoyed by the people who watch because apart from its various colors, it is the music that is played here.  There are also playgrounds in Rizal park where children can enjoy.  You will also find the Quirino Grand Stand where some shows such as concerts are held.
