Guess what, there are a hundred islands there for you to explore in the City of Alaminos, Pangasinan which is said to be millions of years old. The islands totaling 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide, are scattered in the Lingayen Gulf covering an area of 16.76 square kilometers.

There are three particularly popular islands for those visiting, each with their unique appeal: Children’s Island, Quezon Island, and Governor’s Island. Those islands have exploded in popularity and booming like nowhere else in Pangasinan. It is an ideal weekend getaway for families and friends because the park is packed with water activities.

There’ s a wealth of activities in Hundred Islands, which is why it’s a great beach destination for families and friends like swimming, island hopping, snorkeling, helmet diving, kayaking, cliff jumping, zipline, banana boat, wall climbing, rappelling, jet ski, parasailing, and fishing.

The whole island can be compared with a perfect paradise because of its fresh cold clear water and as you explore the island you can witness the twinkling blue sky which is very refreshing to the eyes. Looking at the sun strike while hopping in the islands is one of the wonderful views you can witness here.

What to bring in Hundred Islands?

—Bring power banks. There is also a charging station but there is a fee.
–Light clothes and swimwear
–reef-friendly sunblock
–bring a waterproof bag and case for your gadgets.
–bring drinking bottles, food, and drinks. There’s a store where you can buy but they’re quite expensive.
–If you plan to camp overnight. Bring your tent to save on tent rental.
–bring an underwater camera and make sure to rinse it with fresh water after snorkeling or diving.

IMPORTANT:

 The Hundreds Islands has a “Basura Mo, Iuwi mo”. (Bring your trash home) policy. Upon registration, you will need to deposit P200.00 and they will give you a trash bag. Once you return the garbage bag with your trash the P200.00 will be refunded to you. This garbage is an initiative to free the park of garbage.

How to get in Hundred Islands?

Getting to Hundred Islands is pretty simple. All you need to do is take a bus to Alaminos Pangasinan(5-6 hrs)Upon arrival in Alaminos City, take a tricycle that will bring you to Lucap Wharf in Brgy. Lucap.Tricycle fare is around P80.00-100.00 per ride that can fit around 4 persons per tricycle. At Lucap Wharf, go to the tourism office to rent a boat for your island-hopping adventure in Hundred Islands National Park.
