Many people want to eat a delicious shrimp. One of the dishes that favorite of all Filipinos is a Butter Shrimp. It is cooked with butter and lemon soda. Butter Shrimp is very easy to prepare. It can serve on your breakfast, lunch or maybe dinner. It is very tasty and truly amazing because this dish is giving a buttery and bold flavor. Also a saucy fragrance with garlic content.
Butter Shrimp is a rich and flavorful meal that can be enjoyed by everyone to eat especially if it together with hot rice. The cooking of Butter Shimp is a very common practice in Asian such as in the Philippines. Because of the sweet taste of this dish that why the Filipino love this food so much.
Follow the simple and quick cooking process for this dish.
Ingredients:
1/2 kl of shrimp (cleaned)
3 tablespoons parsley chopped
1/2 cup butter
1 head garlic crushed
2 cup lemon-lime soda
1 teaspoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Process:
1. Wash the Shrimp.
2. Put the pan on the stove, then arrange the shrimp inside.
3. Pour the lemon soda such as sprite or 7 up into the pan. Let simmer until the shrimp became cooked.
4. After cooked the shrimp. Set aside
5. On the same pan, put the butter and wait until it melted.
6. Add the garlic. Mix ad cooks it in low heat. Wait until the color turns light brown.
7. Put the Shrimp and seasoned with salt, pepper, lemon juice. Then mix it well.
8. Put the parsley and cook it for 30 seconds.
9. Once it cooks, transfer into a plate and serve hot.
