Sweet and Sour is a recipe popular in America and Europe. This recipe is also made in Asia. Sweet and sour is a type of dish with many styles of cooking and cooking techniques. There are also many versions of cooking that can be used here with chicken, pork and fish. It can also make its sauce. This dish, I would say that it is a perfect meal because it is really delicious and very satisfying especially when it is served with hot rice. Because of its orange, creamy soup, sweetened and sour taste, it is called Sweet and Sour.
For one version of this dish come and join me in making the Pork Sweet and Sour recipe. I’ll give you the steps and instructions on how to prepare this kind of dish.
Main Ingredients:
1 kilo of PORK (should be sliced)
1 piece of each RED and GREEN Bell Pepper
1 piece of ONION (wedged)
1 piece of CARROT (sliced)
3 tablespoon of SOY SAUCE
1/2 cup of ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
3 tablespoon of CORNSTARCH
4 pieces of the EGG
Sweet and Sour Sauce Ingredients
1 1/4 cup of WATER
3 1/2 tablespoons of VINEGAR
5 tablespoons of TOMATO KETCHUP
4 tablespoons WHITE SUGAR
SALT and PEPPER
Cooking Procedure:
1. In a bowl marinate the pork for 10 minutes, using the soy sauce, add salt as needed for flavor.
2. On the other bowl, combine flour and cornstarch and mix.
3. Preheat the pan and put cooking oil.
4. Dip the marinated pork into the beaten egg and place in flour and cornstarch mixture.
5. Fry the coated pork into the pan and allow it to cook for 10 minutes or until its light brown. When it is cooked, set it aside on a plate.
6. Heat another pan and add all the ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce, letting it simmer.
7. Put the Carrot inside and cook for 3 minutes.
8. Put the onions and bell pepper. Cook it for 4 minutes. Add water as needed.
9. Add the fried pork and mix it. Let cook for 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
10. Transfer on a plate then serves hot.
