Samosa is a type of food snack that has come from the country of India and adopt it in the middle east country.  This food is shaped triangularly covered with a samosa wrapper.  Vegetable, cheese, and grilled meats can be filled into inside it so it’s delicious.  It can also be an appetizer.

For us to taste this dish here is the Crunchy Vegetable Sambosa preparation method.

Ingredients:

 1 tbsp.  vegetable oil
 1 onion (chopped)
 2 garlic cloves (refined)
 1 sliced ​​potato (150g)
 1 sliced ​​carrot (100g)
 100g frozen peas
 2 tsp.  curry powder or even spices just fine with your
   taste
 100 ml.  vegetable stock


 FOR PASTRY:

 2 tsp.  sea ​​salt
 2 tbsp.  vegetable oil
 225g plain flour


Cooking Techniques:

1. For Filling Making – Heat a frying pan on fire and put oil.  Wait to heat the oil and once it is hot, add garlic, onions, and spices such as curry powder.  Mix them for 10 mins.  until it softens.  Put the vegetable and the other seasoning, mixing it well until coated.  Add the vegetable stock, cover and let cool for 30 mins.

2. For making Pastry – Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Put the oil and 100 ml.  water.  Knead the flour until dough is made.  While kneading the dough, sprinkle it with flour of the edge for 5 – 10 mins.  until smooth and roll it into a round shape.  After soaking the dough cover it with clear plastic, separate and place at room temperature for 30 mins.

3. Divide the dough into 12 pieces, it should be equal.  Roll each piece of dough into a ball and flatten it with a circle of about 15 cm.  Using the knife, divide it into two.

4. Dip the brush into the water and rub it over each side of the dough.  Form a cone shape around your fingers covered with a dampened edge, add 1 tbsp.  mixture and squeeze the two dampened edges together to close the cone surface.  Repeat it with the rest of the pastries.

5. Preheat the pan on the fire and put the oil.  The volume of the oil should be 1/3 the height of the pan.  Put the first batch of vegetable samosa in the pan so it can be fried.  Within 8 – 10 mins.  wait for it to be brown and crispy, after cooking cool it and strain the oil into a strainer or on kitchen paper. Then can eat it.
